Process of editing

To come out with all 3 of our finished products, we had used several different types of media technologies. For the music video itself we had used Final Cut express, which we feel is the most relevant to use when editing video's as it has everything needed to edit a video into what you wish it to be.

Below are a few screen grabs of the editing itself done during the process of creating our music video.

For the digipak we decided to use Adobe photoshop. The fist image below was several images in a row of a picture we took of the artist. We then decided to clone stamp the background wall to give it a marbly effect. After doing this we applied several filters till we felt the inside digipak looked good.

After doing so we started the album cover, which we tried to make so that it would fit in with the inside of the digipak. We decided that the whole digipak would have a black and white theme as that stood out and appealed to us more.

For our final product, which was the magazine advert, we decided to use a different media types called PicMonkey. It allowed us to edit the image and we felt that it was easier to use compared to photoshop. It had a filter which we preferred and felt would suit the image. Although the digipak was black and white we had decided to make our poster different with a touch of red filter, as it may appeal to a wider audience.

Overall we have used a few media types to produce all of our products, and from it we have gained experience on editing as well as producing appealing products.
