Justification of ideas in relation to genre and artist

We have decided to base the story line of the music video on a couple, and the actor thinking about his relationship. This is because the genre of music, being RnB and pop, always looks for romantic story lines, as this is what the audience look for.  The artist has also used similar ideas when he produced a music video for this track. He also uses similar story lines in most of his other videos, which we then tried to relate to in our music video. Additionally the song has a meaning, which is basically a man cheating time after time, reflecting his thoughts on his girl friend, who he may still have feeling for. knowing this we have produced ideas which relate to the song and basically puts the words of the song into pictures.

Detailed outline of ideas

After considering all our possible ideas, we have took the best ones and decided to use them for our project. The music video should now consist of shots of:
- an actor and actress out in the park, they may possibly sitting on a bench, or running around playing and joking.
- The actor lip syncing whilst walking down River Themes
- actor lip syncing from different angles
- location e.g london eye, big ben etc
- actor lip syncing in slow motion with cars going by fast behind him.

Digipak analysis

here is an example of a Digipak, It is an album by a pop artist known as Katy Perry, below i have analyzed  the digipak.

The list of songs have been made to stand out with the use of the colour red, as it contrasts highly with the pink clouds. also the names of writers have been put in blue which also stands out from the image of cloud.
The colour of katy perry's hair also stands out from the pink background which therefore catches peoples eyes.
The cd's have also been personalised for katy perry making it unique and bubbly suiting all pop fans.

Jessie J Magazine analysis

There are many advantages to this magazine cover, as it has most of the conventions needed to make an efficient magazine cover. Above is the image of the magazine cover, the conventions attached to it is the image of the artist, the company logo's, links such as the artists website, album title, and finally who features in the album.

As the majority of the advert is a picture of the artist herself it shows how independent she is, and how she is a solo artist etc.
Also the album title is repeated twice, to make sure that the audience are aware of what it is called. The language used in the magazine such as 'smash' may have been used to relate to teenagers to catch their attentions.

Magazine Music Advert Conventions

In a magazine you are likely to find certain things on it, these are known as conventions, and here is a list of these conventions:

-Release Date
-Album Name
-the Artist Name
-Reviews
-Websites
- Scanning items for more info about the magazine
-Images
-Where certain songs may be available, e.g itunes, HMV etc.
The image above is a perfect example of a magazine advert for an Artist. On the image it tells the audience where the song or album is available to be downloaded from, also the release date, and most of the key conventions to make up the magazine advert.

Famous art analysis

The biggest band in history, rightfully had one of the most recognizable (and grammy-winning) album covers ever. The image includes over 70 cardboard cut outs of important personalities, friends and influences. For instance Marilyn Monroe, Frues, Marlon Brando and even Karl Marx. All the figures are representative for that era and are a witness to the bands creativity.
